There’s an invitation to the Dublin Cultural Institute students from Old Belvedere Women’s Rugby Team to attend their open night, which takes place this Thursday, the 18th August, and Thursday, the 15th of September.
The night itself will be all about fun, entail some ball skills, a bit of fitness but mainly it’s about meeting members of the team & their great coaching staff to see if this is something you’d like to come back to the following week. If you do decide to go back, you’ll be taught how to properly tack someone!
Training takes place every Tuesday & Thursday at 7pm in Old Belvedere Rugby Club, Anglesea Road, Dublin 4. Simply go on to the back pitch where you’ll see the girls, and don’t worry if you’re running late. you can’t make tonight, you are welcome to join any training night and can e-mail beforehand for more information.
Interested players of all different nationalities are invited to take part and past participants have found this to be a great way to make Irish friends and practice their English. The Old Belvedere Ladies have organised pizza afterwards which will be available in the bar after so make sure you stick around.
If there are any problems, you can call Sharon on 086 8076340.
