What To Do In Dublin

There are many reasons that make Dublin a great place to learn English. As Dublin Cultural Institute is located right in the centre of Dublin, social interaction is impossible to avoid. This means there’s plenty of fun opportunities to practice your English.

We’re pretty much connected experts on everything that’s happening around us, such as what to do in Dublin and how to live in Ireland’s capital city. Being situated on O’Connell Street adjacent to the River Liffey, we’re a stone’s throw away from practically everything worth seeing and doing. Our English language school is surrounded by cafés, shops, restaurants, and pubs and there’s a general vibrancy present that’s typically only found in a bustling cosmopolitan city.

Things to do in Dublin

Dublin has an abundance of activities available – museums, castles, markets, galleries, and festivals. The DCI Social Club goes on an excursion around Dublin every Friday to discover the city. The upcoming activities we have planned are on our calendar, however, we do like to change our mind from time to time so the scheduled activity may change. But come rain or shine, we’re always doing something.

Dublin's Great Outdoors

Our excursions extend beyond city life and learning about Dublin’s history to taking advantage of the city’s location by exploring Ireland’s scenic outdoors. Regular Friday activities include taking walks along Bray and Howth’s coastal cliffs, admiring Phoenix Park’s wildlife or watching the boats sail by from Dun Laoghaire’s pier.

Dublin's Nightlife

And, of course, there’s Dublin’s nightlife. The city is renowned for having a great nightlife scene and located barely five minutes’ walk away from us is Temple Bar. The cobblestone streets are populated with late bars and nightclubs to drink, sing and dance the night away.
