Meet the Team

Jonathan has enjoyed a successful career in International Education spanning three decades. A Dubliner and graduate of Trinity College, Jonathan has designed, delivered, and managed educational programmes and schools for organisations such as International House, British Council, Dublin Business School and Kaplan in Ireland, the UK, Germany and USA.

A former business lecturer, teacher trainer, Cambridge examiner and secretary of Marketing English in Ireland (MEI), Jonathan’s true passion is developing teaching and learning environments and delivering exceptional customer service.

Born and raised in Dublin, Oisín Smith is Director of Studies at DCI. The longest serving member of staff at the school, he brings a wealth of organisational knowledge, managerial experience, and educational skills to the role. A gifted teacher, Oisín enjoys working closely with students to achieve their academic goals.

Siobhan has worked in the EFL industry for more than 15 years establishing a reputation as a confident, professional and friendly face for many English language students and agents. During her career she has worked at Dublin Business School, English in Dublin, Trinity College, and Chapterhouse before joining DCI in 2019

Nan Jiang is the most recent member of the DCI management team. Having spent a decade and half with Kaplan International Languages, Nan joined DCI in 2022 to continue her passion for assisting students with every aspect of their time in Ireland including immigration, banking, employment, accommodation, sightseeing, health and welfare. Originally from Shenyang, Nan Jiang is happy to call Dublin her home for over twenty years.
